Hospitality accounting & CFO services · Nationwide
Your P&L arrives three weeks late. By then the quarter is already gone.
We run the full back office for restaurants, hotels, franchise groups and venues — books, AP, payroll, reporting and CFO-level analysis — so operators see the numbers while they can still act on them.
Or start with no commitment: see a sample hotel reporting pack
Client view · illustrative
13-week rolling cash position
Every client sees a rolling 13-week cash projection updated weekly, not a month-end statement about a month that already ended.
Find your operation
Four operations, four sets of books
A hotel closes nothing like a restaurant group, and a franchisee reports to people a single-unit operator has never had to answer to. Start where you actually sit.
Restaurants & Restaurant Groups
Prime cost by unit, 4-4-5 period close, POS and third-party delivery reconciliation, tip credit and 8027 reporting.
View →Hotels & Lodging
USALI-format reporting, night audit reconciliation, owner and management-company statements, RevPAR and flow-through analysis.
View →Franchise & Multi-Unit
Per-unit P&Ls, multi-entity consolidation, royalty and ad-fund accounting, franchisor reporting packages, unit-economics benchmarking.
View →Venues, Bars & Events
Event revenue recognition, deposits and deferred revenue, BEO reconciliation, seasonality and cash planning.
View →The whole back office
Not a bookkeeper. Not a $200k controller. The department.
Every function below runs under one team, on your existing systems, with a named accountant who knows your operation.
What you can verify today
The facts, stated plainly
Systems we work in: QuickBooks, Restaurant365, Compeat, PlateIQ, XtraChef, and a range of POS and payroll platforms. We adapt to your ERP rather than forcing a migration.
Proof
What we still need from you before launch
The dashed blocks below are places the design has reserved for real proof. Nothing here is invented — each one is a specific asset to collect.
Collect · client results
Two or three named case studies with permission to publish: the operation, what was broken, what changed, and one hard number. One restaurant group, one hotel, one multi-unit.
Collect · testimonials
Four attributed quotes with full name, title and company. Anonymous quotes read as fabricated and are worse than none.
Collect · leadership
Named team with credentials and photographs. Who runs the firm, who a client's day-to-day contact is, and what each person's hospitality background actually is.
Verify · savings claim
The current site states every client saves 50% or more versus in-house. If that cannot be substantiated across the client base it must be removed or restated as a range with its basis.
Collect · service levels
Committed turnaround times. Day of month the P&L lands, onboarding duration, AP processing window. Published SLAs are the most persuasive proof in this category and almost no competitor uses them.
Collect · security posture
How client financial data is handled: encryption, access control, bank-credential practice, background checks, insurance, retention. Only one competitor of eleven shows any of this.
The question nobody answers
What actually happens, week by week
Every firm lists services. Almost none tell you what lands in your inbox on a Tuesday. Here is the rhythm.
| When | What you receive |
|---|---|
| Every Tuesday | Weekly flash: sales, covers, prime cost by unit against budget and last year |
| Every Thursday | Updated 13-week cash projection and the AP run for your approval |
| Day 10 | Closed monthly P&L and balance sheet, with variance commentary |
| Day 15 | Review call with your accountant and, for CFO clients, the controller |
| Quarterly | Benchmarking against comparable operations and a forward budget revision |
Illustrative cadence. Final committed dates to be confirmed before launch and published as service levels.
Go deeper
Read the actual output before you talk to anyone
Sophisticated buyers want evidence, not adjectives. These are ungated on purpose.
Sample hotel reporting pack
A full USALI-format monthly package with owner statement, flow-through analysis and departmental detail.
Restaurant chart of accounts
The hospitality chart of accounts we actually deploy, with period structure and prime-cost groupings.
KPI glossary
Prime cost, flow-through, RevPAR, GOP, tip credit, 4-4-5 — defined the way operators use them, not the way textbooks do.
Common questions
Before you ask
How difficult is the transition from my current accountant?
We map every task your current provider performs, build a project plan with dates, and run parallel where needed so nothing drops mid-period. The full sequence, including what we need from you and when, is laid out on the switching page.
Do I have to change my accounting or POS system?
No. We work in QuickBooks, Restaurant365, Compeat, PlateIQ, XtraChef and a range of POS and payroll platforms, and we can accommodate other ERP systems. If you want a new system we can set one up, but changing systems is never a condition of working together.
Is any of the work sent overseas?
No. All work is completed in our US offices.
What does it cost?
Pricing is a fixed monthly fee, quoted after a scoping call rather than from a menu. What moves it: the number of entities and locations, transaction volume, which functions you want us to run, whether payroll is included, and the condition of your current records. There are no hourly billings and no surprise invoices — you know the monthly number before you commit to anything.
The twenty-minute review is where we establish scope. If we are not the right fit on cost, we will tell you on that call rather than after a proposal.
Do you only work with hospitality?
Overwhelmingly, yes. We can and do serve other industries, but hospitality is the specialisation and it is where the process, the chart of accounts and the reporting are purpose-built.
